Posted May 18, 2005. 5pm -- A group of Pennsylvania district attorneys and others plan to soon meet to discuss concerns raised by the disappearances of Centre County District Attorney Ray Gricar, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Luna, one of the DA's organizing the meeting has told writer Bill Keisling.

The subject of the meeting will include security concerns raised by the vanishings of Luna and Gricar. Both Luna and Gricar were involved in high-stakes heroin prosecutions at the time of their disappearances.
Several of the Pennsylvania DA's involved in the meeting have expressed grave concerns about their own personal safety as they move forward with planned drug prosecutions in their jurisdictions.
A push for a full investigation of the cases prosecuted by both Luna and Gricar will also be discussed.
"I'm very concerned," the DA told Keisling. "I have had situations, and I know Ray had situations, where people have threatened us," following drug prosecutions.
Only days before his disappearance, Gricar helped announce the prosecution and grand jury investigation of the largest heroin ring in his county's history.
